Hub & I headed to our local Verizon store earlier today. The battery in my cute little Krazr is about to go on the fritz and I’m still two months away from being able to upgrade to a new phone.
There’s no time like the present to start shopping for the new phone, right? So off we went to the Verizon store to compare the LG Voyager with the just released CrackBlackberry Storm. Hub was drooling over the Storm like nobody’s business. We tried to take it through some fairly easy maneuvers … like texting. The guy at the kiosk next to me & I couldn’t even find the blooming keyboard. Thank goodness Hub was there to show us how to find it! Typing on the Storm was tedious & frustrating because of the sensitivity level. I would attempt one keystroke and it would complete something different.
One good feature on the Storm, though, was the camera. Nice quality for a phone camera.
So on to the Voyager, which was my first choice even before Hub tried to hard-sell me on the Storm. I showed Hub how small the learning curve is, how easy it was to maneuver through the different applications, and how, despite the fact that Hub doesn’t like how the Voyager looks, I do.
