Pausing to enjoy my moment of brilliance

I’ll give you three guesses about what I should be doing right now. If you know me, you don’t even need three guesses.

If you don’t know me, let the guessing begin.

All kidding aside, I don’t think I can fully express how much I really am enjoying life as a full-time student. Sure, there’s a TON of work to do at home because this is a 4-week semester but I’m an early riser and I have been able to get a lot done between 5 & 6:30 am each day. My classmates think I’m crazy for being up so early. I have to keep reminding them that I’m good for about 13 hours of continuous work and then my brain turns to mush and I have to stop reading/writing/studying for the night.

Which is nice because now that Hub’s back home, I can spend a couple of hours with him before I shuffle off to bed only to start the whole routine over the next morning.

I had loaded all my assignments onto my electronic calendar last Tuesday. This is a good thing … when I have my ‘puter on. Not so good when I don’t. So I had the very bright & inspired idea to write all my assignments in my l’il red organizer. The one I carry around with me everywhere.

D’oh!

It may take me a few days, but I do actually have moments where I astonish myself with my brilliance.

And now, tatertots … it’s back to the land o’ studying.

Hey Dad, if you’re reading this on Sunday morning …

Happy Father’s Day! I love you!

Because of my incredibly heavy study schedule, I won’t be blogging for a while, but will return on July 4th … my own personal Independence Day ; )
