This week wasn’t as overwhelming as last week. Thank goodness!
I only spent part of the week near tears as opposed to all of last week. Hub seems to think it’s hormones. It could be. It could also be that I was so stinking overwhelmed with working out of boxes and trying to meet impossible deadlines, feeling unappreciated at home and at school, and hormones.
Fortunately, I’ve got some really sweet friends where I work and they’ve been great in “gifting” me with little things like sweets, sodas, and laughter. (couldn’t find another “s” word that would fit)I think it helps that the season has finally changed, too. We’ve dropped out of the upper 80’s and low 90’s into the low 70’s.
I’ve got the windows open and all the stuffiness of the past few months is blowing out while the fresh breezes blow in.
Hub, of course, doesn’t like the coolness and wants the windows closed.
I looked at him and said, “Suck it up, soldier!”
He laughs when I say that.
So, life is getting a little sweeter in and around the Casa.
Thank goodness!
I thought the dark cloud was going to last forever.
