God is good.
Hubby & I have talked about cutting down all the nasty hackberry trees that we inherited when we bought our house. They’re such a bother … their seeds sprout into saplings faster than any weed I know and we’re constantly fighting to pull the vile things before they root too deep.
We are officially less one hackberry tree, many thanks to the Lord and the storm that blew through last night.
Imagine my surprise when I went to open the living room blinds and all I saw were tree branches. Thankfully, the tree fell in such a way that it only pulled the rain gutter. Nothing else was damaged on the house.
Bonus!
We have (had) two nasty bushes in the front flowerbed that drove Hubby & me crazy because we had to constantly prune them in order to keep them looking tidy. They were munched by the tree when it fell.
